Reema Lagoo played the iconic mother of several leading actor and actress in multiple superhit movies.

In the 1988 movie Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, debut movie of Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla, she played the mother of later.

Similarly, she was the on-screen mother of superstar Salman Khan in his first blockbuster movie Maine Pyar Kiya (1989) then in Saajan (1991), another superhit at the box office.

She was the mother of Sridevi in Gumrah (1993), Akshay Kumar’s in Jai Kishen (1994).

Lagoo, similarly, featured in Rangeela (1995) as Urmila Matondkar’s mother.

One of her iconic mother roles was of Sanjay Dutt starer Vaastav (1999). However, many would not know that age difference between Dutt and Lagoo was just two years, later being on the elder side.

Similarly, she was just 7 years older than her onscreen son Salman Khan.

Reema Lagoo breathed his last today at a Mumbai hospital.
